Lauren Dickinson-Contemporary Artist

Art weaves a beautiful tapestry throughout Lauren's life. Her art background includes formal studies in fine art and graphic design, having been creating art in various mediums since childhood. She attended a small art school in Washington for a few semesters, which inspired her to transfer to bigger schools. Lauren received acceptance into the Art Program at Fairhaven College at Western Washington University in Bellingham, and the prestigious Cornish College of Arts Visual Arts program in Seattle.

Major family events kept her from finishing her degree, but the creativity remained as she focused on other career interests, namely in the healing arts. Her journey in the healing arts has included extensive energy work, spiritual life coaching, and Shamanic studies. Lauren has picked up the brush periodically over the years, her wellspring creativity remained elusive until the beautifully expressive world of abstract art opened itself to her in 2016, where latent creativity and an innate love for art has absolutely flourished.

Lauren's work thrives on color, texture, and movement. It is infused with stories, symbolism, and a rich palette of colors that evoke the awareness of each viewer's own hero's journey. Her expressionist style and often figurative images invite the viewer deeper into their own divinity, as they connect with the universal principles of the collective consciousness.

Lauren's work was recently exhibited in Spectrum Miami, Laguna Beach, The Other Art Fair, Madrid, Spain, Sicily, Italy, and Waco, Texas. She has had public installations across Dallas, Texas, including a 10-piece corporate office building installation at Qorvo in Richardson and a solo show at a restaurant in Las Colinas, and has work owned by private collectors around the globe.
